Obituary - Des Moines Register (April 21, 1990)
FUNERAL FOR KOURI. Funeral services were conducted Friday in Oklahoma City for Mike Kouri, a 10-year Big Eight Conference basketball referee. Kouri, 39, died Wednesday of a brain aneurysm.
Kouri had worked the NCAA tournament the past two or three years and worked the National Invitation Tournament this year. He is survived by his wife, Sheila, and two children.
