TWO IN ROW FOR KENTUCKY STATE

Visitors Defeat Vols Again, 32 to 20

Though Defeated, University of Tennessee Ends Season with Exciting Game

With skillful passing and an equal ability to break up the Tennessee plays, Kentucky State basketball team defeated the University of Tennessee, 32 to 20, in an interesting and exciting game at the Y.M.C.A. Saturday night.

In the first half the teams played neck and neck with a score of 12 to 11 in Kentucky's favor at the end of the half.

Kentucky State failed to play as fast a game as on Friday night and it looked for a while as if Tennessee had a chance of winning. For several minutes of the play in the second half the score was close, but in the last few minutes of play the visitors piled up the winning score.

Even with their superior skill of passing Kentucky's goal throwing was almost wholly dependent on Thomas, who threw 20 of the 32 points. His skillful and almost certain shot was one of the decided factors of the game.
