Obituary - Leander Andrus, Oregonian (January 26, 1944)

Leander Andrus, 60, of 2207 N.E. Tillamook street, an employee of the United Employment service, died late Tuesday afternoon in an ambulance after being stricken with a heart attack in one of the employment service offices.

Mr. Andrus for the past year had been in charge of the stock room at the main Portland offices of the service. Formerly he was a farm placement officer at the service branch at 40 S.W. 3d Avenue.
