DePauw University is mourning the death of Dr. William L. (Bish) Hughes, former athletic director and football coach.
Word was received at Greencastle of he death of Dr. Hughes Wednesday in Washington D.C. He was director of health, physical education and recreation at Temple University in Philadelphia at the time of his death.
Dr. Hughes served as head football coach at DePauw from 1925 to 1930, preceding Raymond R. (Gaumy) Neal.
