Wilfred Fritz Killed in Automobile Wreck
New York Man Formerly Was Assistant Physical Director at Berea College
ALEXANDRIA BAY, N.Y., May 18 (AP) - Winfred Fritz, 23, formerly assistant director of Berea College, Ky., was killed early today in an automobile accident near Redwood, southeast of here. His machine failed to take a turn and plunged down a thirty foot embankment. Fritz was dead when a farmer living nearby reached the spot.
A companion, John Coughlin, 21, is in a hospital at Watertown. He is believed injured internally and his condition is serious.
