Jay F. McMullen, 90, a lawyer more than 60 years
Jay F. McMullen, a Detroit area lawyer for more than 60 years, died Thursday at his daughter's home in Moorestown, N.J. He was 90.
Mr. McMullen graduated from Bethany College in West Virginia in 1911 and from the University of Michigan law school in 1915.
He was admitted to the state bar that same year.
Mr. McMullen was a member of the Red Run Golf Club, the State Bar of Michigan, the Detroit Athletic Club and Delta Theta Phi, a legal fraternity.
His wife, Mary, died in 1979.
Mr. McMullen is survived by his daughters, Sue Klein, of New York City, and Sheila Ready, of Moorestown; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak.
Services will be at 1 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
