Harold Anderson Dies on Tuesday
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Former Bowling Green, Ohio, State University basketball coach and athletic director W. Harold Anderson died Tuesday at his Fort Lauderdale home.
Anderson, 64, retired from Bowling Green in 1965.
He served as head basketball coach at the university of 21 years and compiled a 362-185 record. he retired from active coaching in 1963 when he became athletic director.
The Akron, Ohio, native and former University of Toledo basketball coach is survived by his widow Colline, and three daughters.
Funeral services will be held here Friday.
Burial will be in Akron.
