Edward Petro
Edward Petro, 72, of Spanish Lakes, Port St. Lucie, died Wednesday at HCA Medical Center of Port St. Lucie.
A native of Passaic, N.J., Mr. Petro came to Port St. Lucie five years ago from Hicksville, N.Y. Prior to his retirement he was a high school coach in the public school system of New York.
He was a member of Stephen F. Gladwin American Legion Post 40 of Fort Pierce and St. Lucie Catholic Church of Port St. Luce.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Petro of Spanish Lakes; a son, Edward Paul Petro of Port St. Lucie; two sisters, Olga Leserovich and Pauline Schlee.
