Brad R. Snyder, 62, of Maplewood Drive, Michigan City, IN, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Saint Anthony Memorial Health Centers.
Born in Gary, IN, on July 30, 1938; son of the late Marvin and the late Florence, nee Ottoson, Snyder; married on August 22, 1964, in Crown Point, to Linda Wonsowicz who survives in Michigan City, IN; survived by son Douglas Snyder of Michigan City, IN, and daughter Shari Snyder of Atlanta, GA; grandson Austin Snyder; sister Beverly Vanderplough of Hobart, IN; preceded in death by son Scott Snyder.
Retired Independent Insurance Agent. Graduate of Northwestern University where he received his masters degree, where he played basketball, was the Captain of the team in 1961, was the assistant basketball coach from 1961 to 1968 and was the head coach from 1969 to 1973.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no viewing. Root Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: American Cancer Society.
