Surviving: widow, Mrs. Ella Smith Evans; son, Robert Smith Evans of Oss, Holland; daughter, Mrs. Nancy Evans Hainlin of Stockbridge, Ga.; brothers, Bill of McLeansville, Glen Evans of Mooresville; sisters, Mrs. Ed Linker of Davidson, Mrs. Mack Wilson of Mooresville; three grandchildren.
